Looking at tension for foxy, you need about 37 sts and 50 rows, but it suggests 7mm needles. So if you go up to 8mm you'd need a few less. Try a 4in square then times sts and rows by 3! Hope this helps! Janine

Hi.Just wanted to let you know that there is pattern for a throw and cushions on ebay (www.ebay.co.uk ) at the moment. It is by Wendy and the yarn is called Foxy Lady, but it is exactly the same as Sirdar's Foxy.Just type in "pattern wendy 5228" and 2 listings will come up.Of course, you will have to register to buy or get someone else to get it for you! Happy knitting,Sue.

I have a pattern for a throw in this yarn.To make it,cast on 134 stitches using thumb method on 8mm needles and work in stst until it is 122cm in length.this assumes tension of 11sts and 14 rows to 10cm on size 8mm needles. finished size would be 48 inches square.it uses 19 balls yarn.this yarn also available from knitwell online for £5.95 for 10 balls.
