im considering knitting a 'throw' for my bed in this wool. any comments on using this wool would be well received

I have knitted many scarves in this type of yarn and also a cushion cover. It takes a while to get used to what to do with it, but once you've mastered it its ok! You could probably make a throw, though you'd have to experiment. There were some patterns for a rug and floor cushion in the June issue of simply knitting that you may be able to adapt. If you decide to knit strips, you'd need a smooth yarn in matching colour for sewing up. Hope this helps and good luck! Janine

wow! many thanks for that info. i do take 'simply knitting' - but i completed over looked those patterns. i ordered just one ball from kemp's to 'have a go'. finger's X i can master the technique

Can you tell me when you knit with this yarn if its quite loose - not sure what its meant to look like!
