Have just received lovely parcel of fashion wools for making scarves. What excellent low prices on good quality wool even taking into account the quite high postage! I find making simple scarves in plain knit with fashion wool very rewarding and theraputic. Thanks again, I will shop here again soon.

I do so agree with you. Love the prices on Kemps yarns but not the postage or pattern prices. Some sites offer a set price for postage if you spend over, say, £20 (and I usually do). Kemps is definitely the very best site for wool whether or not it is clearance but not the postage. Sorry Kemps !!

I agree, the prices on here are very reasonable, but the postage is way too high. Come on Kemps, can you lower your postage costs? Most sites give FREE postage when you spend a minimum amount. You'd get far more customers if you did the same!

Having just received my first order from Kemps(ordered late Monday -received Weds) i was very pleased with the goods & service. As i am still waiting after 3 weeks & 5 phone calls for my order to be completed from another well known online company (and postage of £4) i really cannot fault them.

Whilst its true that Kemps postage rates are higher than others, I almost always find that the low cost of yarn more than makes up for the postage cost and the total cost of a project still works out cheaper than elsewhere. And I agree with everyone else, the service is second to none. I'd vote Kemps my favourite every time! Janine

I think Kemps' postage prices are very reasonable and while you can get cheaper postage - even free postage - on other sites I have rarely found anything to compare with the unbelievably low cost of the yarn itself. You can't have everything! These sites which offer free postage can only do so by making more profit on the yarn itself. It's probably a good strategy too as I always order more than I otherwise would to make the postage seem more reasonable. Whichever way you look at it the bargains here are hard to beat.

Just got back to forum after very busy time at home. Thank you for all your messages. I certainly love the prices. I buy the 49p and 59p wool and it's fabulous. I don't very often go into my local wool shop so I have a surprise when the wool comes from Kemps because I don't really know what it's going to look or feel like. Am just going to have another browse!

I ordered fromKemp's to-day & there is free postage on a spend of £30 plus. My postage was only £1 61 & I note it was based on the weight of order. I thought this was fair & my order has been dispatched already. I have allways found them an excellent company to deal with.
