Hi There!
Has anyone used/heard of/remembers Sirdar 'Savoy'?
The reason I ask is that I got a great carrier bag full of it (all with bands!) from a charity shop, and I hoped to find a 'Savoy' pattern to go with it (I'm fairly much a newbie knitter so prefer to use patterns specifically designed for a specific yarn... yep, I'm a coward, LOL!), but I can't find any mention of it anywhere on the internet. I'm not sure if it's called an 'eyelash' yarn, but it's more like very light fringing, constant throughout. It actually says 'chunky' on the band, but it's certainly not what I would call chunky!
Anyway, I'd love to find a pattern for it, so I'm hoping someone will know what I'm talking about!
Janey (newbie on this forum!)

Hi Janey Just had a look at the 'web' for you. There is nothing as regards this yarn in the UK and I must say I have never heard of it. You could try to contact Sirdar (not too hopeful there though). All I can suggest is try knitting a tension piece on what is suggested on the ball band, it tells you the needle size and stitches and go from there. Perhaps you could use a simple chunky pattern to do it and if you have lots of it, you should have enough to complete it. Some wools go further than others. Hope this helps. Another Janey
