Does anyone out there know of a BRITISH Knitting site. I know about Ravely and Knitty but these both appear to be American. I have trouble with everything American in knitting, the terminology, yarns (most of which you can't get in the UK) and yarn weights. It doesn't matter what I need, I can never understand it on these UK sites.

Have you joined any of the British groups on Ravelry, there are loads of UK knitters on there. I don't find it biased towards the US at all.

I will have a look to see how to do that. I am not biased by the way, just don't understand any of the US terminology or the yarns. Will have another go. Thanks for replying. J

This site looks as though it could be worth a look - just dipped my toe in but there's more going on there than others I have seen
