This is probably a daft question, but are the ribbons being sold on here for knitting with or sewing with? I've heard you can knit with Sari ribbon, is this stuff similar? Thanks!

the ribbons which are on the same pages as the kits are more like christmas ribbons for decoration. If it is something like the bamboo tape this is for knitting, need any more information contact the shop and we will help you.

Is it just me or do other people struggle with kntting with ribbon? Have tried to do a scarf with Louise Harding "sari ribbon" but it twirls back on itself all the time and so tightly it's like trying to knit wire. Simply not possible to smooth it out a bit as I go, although have used a Colinette tape okay before. Any ideas anyone?

The reduced ones are about 2" wide & are for decoration or hand sewing onto a non-washable item.

I've just found the Louisa Harding Sari Ribbon, the retail price is massively expensive! Does anyone know of a wholesaler for this product, or a similar product without the extortionate price tag??!!

Try yarn paradise, a turkish site which has loads of ribbon yarns. The postage is expensive, but the wool costs a fraction of the price.

Thanks for that, I've had a look at the site but they don't have sari ribbon, bummer!
