I have just been given some of this vintage Sirdar wool. Does anyone have any old patterns with the tension given. Also if you have any ideas how far it goes. The balls are 50g but 90% wool so I don't suppose they will go that far. Thanks

Hi philippa, Just googled this wool and its a chunky type so I would think most chunky patterns would be OK. But you would have to check to see what the metre length is on the ball bands and also a tension square to make sure you have enough to finish your project. Hope this is of some use. Suzy
