Hi can anybody tell me what ply Debbie Bliss Donegal luxury tweed is.

Hi, suzy051, Maybe you can guage the thickness of the wool by the size of needles required for the pattern. What size does it say? Susie.

Hi Susie, The pattern says size 5mm. To knit the Jacket with the the Debbie Bliss yarn it would cost about £55.00. Sue

Hi Suzyo51 Hope the other Susie doesn't mind me jumping in on this one. It seems that the Debbie Bliss yarn is probably an aran weight. If you look at the tension details and compare them with the tension given on the ball band of a good quality aran, this should tell you. Good luck. Sally
