I have just acquired an old pattern that calls for Wendy Miami, the pattern is for a bedspread and am pleased it doesn't call for cotton ! anyhow, I understand this yarn has been discontinued and wondered if you can reccommend a good alternative or indeed whatever replaced it.

Hi... Wendy Miami is a double knit yarn 50% cotton 50% acrylic and 135yds-123m per 50g ball. So I think any double knit yarn/wool would be alright but check your tension square and make sure you have enough wool/yarn to complete. Hope this is of some help. Suzy
